What the site collects

You don't need an account for this site or its hosted endpoint, and neither asks who you are.

Requests to oods-foundry.com come through Cloudflare, which gives the site's server your IP address. The server reads it only on the chart route and the hosted endpoint, to count your requests.

The server also receives what you send it:

  • in the chart playground, the chart you make, which it draws;
  • on the hosted endpoint, the tool calls your assistant makes and their arguments, which it answers.

Nothing else you type or choose in the site's controls leaves your browser.

Cloudflare's Web Analytics script, which Cloudflare adds to the site's pages, reports each page you open to Cloudflare.

How it is used and kept

The server counts each visitor's recent requests in its memory, under the visitor's IP address, so that no one visitor can use up everyone's share of the chart route and the hosted endpoint. For an IPv6 address it keeps only the network part, not the part that names your device.

Calls from claude.ai's connectors come from Anthropic's addresses, not yours, and the server counts them all as one visitor.

The server keeps the charts it draws and the hosted endpoint's replies in memory, each under the request that asked for it, not under who sent it, so the same request gets the same reply without being worked out again. A kept chart includes the rows that were sent.

OODS Foundry, which draws the charts on the server, keeps its own copy of each chart in memory too.

The server's own log records when it starts, when OODS Foundry starts or stops, and the error when a call fails unexpectedly. It does not record requests.

If you choose a theme, your browser keeps the choice in its local storage as oods-site-theme, and the site reads it there to show that theme.

Neither the site nor Cloudflare's script sets a cookie or stores anything else in your browser.

Who else receives it

The site's pages load everything from this site, except Cloudflare's Web Analytics script, which comes from Cloudflare.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare carries every request and reply between your browser and the site's server at oods-foundry.com, and adds its Web Analytics script to every page your browser asks for.

For each page you open, the script reports to Cloudflare when you opened it, the page's address, the page you came from, whether you followed a link, went back or reloaded, your browser's engine and version, your operating system's version, how quickly the page loaded and drew, and how much memory it used. It reports each page load under an id of its own. Its reports go to Cloudflare at oods-foundry.com/cdn-cgi/rum and don't reach the site's server.

Cloudflare's privacy policy says what Cloudflare does with what it receives.

Railway

Railway runs the site's server. For every request that reaches it, Railway logs when it came, its method, host and path without the query, the reply's status, size and timing, your IP address, your browser's user agent and which of Railway's edge locations handled it.

Railway's privacy policy says what Railway does with what it receives.

No one else

The site's server passes on nothing it receives. OODS Foundry runs on the same server, and Railway's network logs show the server opening no connection of its own.

How long it is kept

  • What the server keeps in memory is gone, at the latest, when the server restarts, as it does at every deploy. None of it is written to disk.
  • Railway keeps its logs for 30 days, the period its documentation gives for the plan this site is on.
  • Your theme choice stays in your browser until you clear its storage for this site.
  • Cloudflare keeps its reports as its privacy policy describes.
